Dr. Shirnil Channappa received his undergraduate degree in Life Sciences from Pennsylvania State University in 1995. In May 2000, he graduated from the University of Alabama - Birmingham with his doctorate in Optometry. His interest in health-related fields and interacting with patients led him to Optometry. He enjoys helping his patients solve their eye care needs.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and solving puzzles.

I highly recommend Ducklo EyeCare! This was my first eye-care appointment since I moved to Nashvill... Show Moree, so I chose Ducklo based on others’ experiences. Initially I was evaluated by Twan, who is a very sweet jovial young man. Then Dr. Soloman spent lots of time discussing my vision issues and thought I might benefit from switching my routine from distance contacts and reading glasses to one near and one far contact. It’s a blessing not to hunt for readers every 5 minutes. Amazing! Though they didn’t apply to me, the prescription glasses selection was impressive. Now my husband is scheduling an appointment!
